Which one is better, Automatic transmission or manual transmission?

There are actually four main types of transmission in modern automobiles
  1. Manual (with a clutch pedal), automatic
  2. CVT (continuous variable transmission)
  3.  Automated manual (no clutch pedal
  4. A drive similar to an automatic / CVT)

In the old days (15+ years ago), a traditional manual transmission with clutch pedal was preferred for every aspect of driving for fuel efficiency, reliability, performance, experienced and skilled drivers. Automatics was liked by those who lacked skill (or did not want to be disturbed / complicated) or used to drive too much in stop-end-go traffic in crowded cities. Generally, a conventional manual was more fuel efficient due to the gear ratio and weight. A manual weighed (and usually still does) weight in an automobile with an automatic weight. There were five forward gears in most of the manual transmission vehicles of 1980 and 1990, compared to just three or four for automatics. On reaching the 2000s, these numbers increased to some degree by becoming normal for six-speed manuals and five-speed automaticts. In recent years some of these things have changed.
More gear helped fuel economy between high top gear ratios and gear for more driving speed.
There are practically infinite gear ratios in the CVT transmission, which are among the lowest and highest gear built in the transmission. It has operated CVT transmission in many fuel economy numbers in the fuel economy numbers. Many CVT broadcasts (especially beginners models) are not as durable as conventional manual or automatics. Some CVT vehicles also suffer from "speed creep". If the driver keeps the accelerator pedal in a stable position and the engine RPM stays the same, then the vehicle can speed up gradually because the transmission gears gradually adjusts the ratio (near the infinite ratio).

Modern automotive is now equipped with seven, eight, nine and even ten forward gear. The possibility of these automatics is still more than a manual, but with additional gear ratios (and possibly higher gear), they often overcome manual vehicles in the fuel economy.

Automatic manual transmission (especially dual-clutch models) has acceleration numbers, which usually beat each other transmission option available in the same vehicle with the same engine, wheels and tires.

Personally, I like driving a vehicle in which I can feel and control what the vehicle is doing on the road. I also like vehicles that are easy to maintain and repair. Clutch work on a conventional manual transmission vehicle is fast, easy and cheap (originally rebuilt in the case of automatic), with the clutch inside the transmission compared to the automatic transmission vehicle. As another responder said, with the traditional manual, you can start the car with a dead battery or a bad starter. With an automated, you have better roadside assistance. My wife knows how I do the three-pedal manual, but she does an automatic choice, especially in the city's traffic. He does not have to worry about repairs, he has married me and he has to do just that what is wrong with me. I remove the applicable equipment and after that I go.

For fuel economy, go with an automated or CVT. For the sheer acceleration performance, go with an automated manual. For driver / vehicle unity and interaction, something is preferred with either traditional manual or pedal shifts. If you plan to drive the vehicle forever (or at least until it is not decomposed), I would recommend a fairly basic model with a traditional manual transmission and clutch pedal, especially if you either own As an extension of the vehicle you prefer to drive with your own maintenance / repair.
