BMW launches Z4 Roadster for Rs 64.90 lakh in India


Z4 Roadster has two engine options in India compared to three internationally.
BMW has launched the Z4 Roadster in India and it is being offered in two variants - sDrive20i which costs 64.90 lakhs and M40i costs 78.90 lakh rupees.

Design language on the new Z4 closely follows the concept that was shown some time ago. Signature BMW Kidney Grill in front-end and aggressive looking air intakes. Although the headlamps do not follow the usual style of BMW and the double barrel look has changed into a larger, more angular shape.
Even on the bottom side, there is an arched right behind the wheel's front wheel, which gives major winds flowing in the contour lines of Z4. Tail lamps on the rear and rear big air bumper are on. Z4's base variants get an option for additional personalization between the Sport line and the M-Sport package. There is also an option between the standard LED headlights or the adaptive LED headlamps of BMW.

When the engine comes down, sDrive20i comes with a 2 liter inline four turbo engine, which produces 200 PS power and 320 nm of torque at a speed of 240 km / hour with a speed of 6.6 seconds in a distance of 100 km. . On the other hand, the top spec M40i offers an inline-six twin turbo motor capable of churning 345 PS and 500 mm. BMW has claimed the top speed of 250 km / h with the time of 0-100 km / h 4.5 seconds. Both the engines are placed in the 8-speed steaptronic sports transmission.

The interiors also follow BMW's Sharper theme with BMW's ConnectedDrive. The instrument cluster is a 10.25-inch digital display with a high res touchscreen infotainment system. Of course, a full suite of tech is also featured including an adaptive navigation system with 3D maps, Wireless Apple CarPlay with connectivity via Bluetooth and two USB ports.
