But American automobile manufacturer Lightning Motorcycles has launched an electric superbike. Along with strong engine capacity and excellent look, this bike's driving
range is also quite good.
The company has launched this superbike in three different variants. Including Standard, Mid Range and Carbon. In its base model, the company has 10kWh battery pack. Although the company has used the same type of electric motor in all the variat. But their power output is quite different from each other.
Standard variant, in which the company has used 10kWh of battery pack, its motor generates 91PS power output and torque of 245Nm. Apart from this, the company has used a 15 kWh battery pack in mid range variants. It gives this bike more power. These bikes can travel around 168 kilometers in the city and 240 km on a single charge on a single charge. However, due to the increase in the battery pack, its weight also increases to 5 kilograms.
The Carbon, which is the top-end variant of this superbike, has used much better technology and mechanism in the company. In this bike, the same motor has been used, which generates power of 122PS. But the company has tuned it in such a way that this bike can travel 241 kilometers in urban traffic on single charge and 322 kilometers on the highway.
Not only this, this electric carbon bike can run at a speed of 217 kilometers per hour. The company says that it will soon be included in the Fast Charging Unit. So this bike will be fully charged in just 20 minutes
